BASIC Package

BASIC Website Package

This Agreement is entered into between TheForgeZA (“Service Provider”) and the Client (“Client”) upon acceptance of the BASIC Website Package and first payment.

1. Scope of Services

The Service Provider agrees to design, host, and maintain a WordPress-based informational website in accordance with the BASIC Website Package.

1.1 Website & Hosting

• Domain registration or transfer (subject to availability)
• Secure hosting with SSL
• Daily backups and uptime monitoring
• SEO-friendly technical setup

1.2 Website Pages

The following pages will be built once at setup:

• Home Page
• About Us Page
• Photo Gallery / Showcase Page
• Contact Us Page

1.3 Gallery Setup

• Upload of up to ten (10) images to the gallery
• Images supplied by the Client

2. Launch Timeline

• Website launch is targeted within 3–5 working days
• Timeline begins once all required content and images are supplied
• Delays caused by missing information are not the responsibility of the Service Provider

3. Monthly Support & Maintenance

3.1 Included Per Month

• One (1) content update
• Up to three (3) support tickets
• Core system and plugin updates
• Security monitoring

3.2 Support Conditions

• Support is provided during standard business hours
• Unused updates and tickets expire monthly
• Requests outside scope require separate quotation

4. Exclusions & Additional Work

The following are not included and will require a separate quotation:

• eCommerce features or payments
• Booking systems
• Advanced forms or integrations
• Custom development or plugins
• Marketing, SEO, or advertising services

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete content and images
• Ensure all supplied materials are legally owned or licensed
• Respond to requests for approval promptly

The Service Provider is not liable for errors in Client-supplied content.

6. Payments & Billing

• Billed monthly in advance
• Services may be suspended for overdue payments
• No refunds for partial months

7. Ownership & Access

• The Client owns all supplied content
• The Service Provider retains administrative access for maintenance
• Access transfer available upon termination once all fees are settled

8. Termination

• Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice
• Hosting and support cease upon termination
• The Client may request a website backup
• No refunds apply

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Liability is limited to one (1) month’s service fee.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Acceptance

By purchasing or continuing to use the BASIC Website Package, the Client confirms acceptance of this Agreement.
