Website Services Agreement

PRO Website Package

This Agreement is entered into between TheForgeZA (“Service Provider”) and the Client (“Client”) on acceptance of the PRO Website Package and first payment.

1. Scope of Services

The Service Provider agrees to design, host, and maintain a WordPress-based informational website in accordance with the PRO Website Package, which includes:

1.1 Website & Hosting

• Domain registration or transfer (subject to availability)

• Secure website hosting with SSL

• Daily backups and uptime monitoring

• SEO-friendly technical setup

1.2 Website Pages

The following pages will be built and structured once at setup:

• Home Page

• About Us Page

• Contact Us Page

• Product / Services Gallery

• Photo Gallery

All pages are mobile-responsive and optimised for clarity and usability.

1.3 Content & Gallery Setup

• Setup of up to ten (10) services or products in the Services Gallery

• Upload of up to twenty (20) images in the Photo Gallery

• Content and images to be supplied by the Client

2. Launch Timeline

• Website launch is targeted within 5–7 working days

• Timeline begins once all required content, images, and approvals are received

• Delays caused by incomplete or late submissions are not the responsibility of the Service Provider

3. Monthly Support & Maintenance

To keep the package affordable and sustainable, monthly support is capped.

3.1 Included Per Month

• Up to three (3) content updates

  • Text edits

  • Service descriptions

  • Gallery image replacements

• Up to five (5) support tickets

  • Technical issues

  • Usage guidance

  • Minor layout adjustments

• Core system, theme, and plugin updates

• Security monitoring

3.2 Support Conditions

• Support is provided during standard business hours

• Tickets do not roll over to subsequent months

• Unused updates or tickets expire monthly

4. Exclusions & Additional Work

The following services are not included in the PRO Website Package and require a separate quotation:

• eCommerce functionality or online payments

• Booking systems or advanced forms

• Custom plugin or feature development

• Marketing, SEO campaigns, or advertising

• Unlimited content revisions or uploads

• Large-scale gallery expansions

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete website content and images

• Ensure all supplied material is legally owned or licensed

• Review and approve content in a timely manner

• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations

The Service Provider is not responsible for errors resulting from Client-supplied content.

6. Payments & Billing

• This package is billed monthly in advance

• Services may be suspended if payment is overdue

• No refunds are issued for partial months

7. Ownership & Access

• The Client owns all website content supplied by them

• The Service Provider retains administrative access for maintenance and support

• Full site access may be transferred upon termination once all outstanding fees are settled

8. Termination

• Either party may terminate this Agreement with 30 days written notice

• Upon termination:

  • Hosting and maintenance services will cease

  • The Client may request a site backup

• No refunds apply upon cancellation

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider will take reasonable steps to maintain website availability and security but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Liability is limited to the value of one (1) month’s service fee.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Acceptance

By purchasing or continuing to use the PRO Website Package, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
